A few days after the start of the conflict, time seems to stand still. The roads to get to the villages illegally occupied by pro-Russians are completely battered by the tracks of military vehicles, by mortars and rockets, by the weight of 8 years of "low intensity" warfare. Gray dominates all around, between snow and fog, which makes the journey uniform with an aesthetic that matches the state of tension of these days preceding the great war.
A pochi giorni dall'inizio del conflitto il tempo sembra essere sospeso. Le strade per arrivare ai villaggi illegalmente occupati dai filorussi sono completamente martoriate dai cingoli dei mezzi militari, dai colpi di mortai e razzi, dal peso di 8 anni di guerra “a bassa intensità”. Tutto intorno domina il grigio, tra neve e nebbia, che rende il viaggio uniforme ad un’estetica che combacia con lo stato di tensione di questi giorni che precedono la grande guerra.
